This section, I decided to rename Mad Mike's Reviews. I'll tell you why. Any product you see me review will be something I have personally tested. Whether someone is paying me, or not, you will hear what I have to say about it and get an honest, user's opinion, not some paid-for critique of a product that is really a piece of crap.
A product I review will be put through some rigorous testing. And, usually, I'm madly in love with it, or mad as hell about the way it was made, or performs. Sponsors BEWARE ! I don't care what you pay, I ain't lying to anybody for you. Hence, we have Mad Mike's Reviews.
Quick example: I am a Pentax shooter. I love my Pentax Cameras. I've been shooting the KD 10 for a few years. Well, I just bought a brand new K5. It's impressive. But, there's one thing about it that just pisses me off, to no end. Some knucklehead decided to move the cable release to the right side of the camera. That's the side of the camera any wildlife photographer worth his salt is using his RIGHT HAND ON TO MAKE MANUAL ADJUSTMENTS. I DON'T NEED MY CABLE RELEASE OVER THERE WHERE IT GETS IN THE WAY ! PENTAX K5 CAMERAS WILL NEVER GET A FIVE STAR RATING FROM ME. TELL THE DONKEYS THEY MADE A BIG, BIG MISTAKE ! End of rant.....
My plan is to have something to show you when I do these reviews so, I'll always include some sort of photo; the more the better. The product doesn't necessarily have to be camera-related. It could be anything from my coffee maker to my minature Swiss Army Knife. You'll have to wait and see. I won't be doing any rush jobs on product reviews. I want to take the time to really test the stuff and put together a review with some photos to show you.
Like my Swiss Army Knife that's with me 24 hours a day, that's something I could write about any time. Once, I used it to remove a tick from my belly button. Wouldn't that be nice to know how to do?
Well, I can take a photo of a knife in my studio, anytime. Getting another tick to gnaw his way back into my belly button isn't something that happens very often but, if and when it does, you'll get the whole story along with photos, right here, in my Swiss Army Knife Product Review.
